A convincing room concept always begins with a reliable floor plan. In pCon.planner web, you can import PDF files or images directly, intuitively, and to scale. This gives you a solid foundation for any planning process while saving valuable preparation time.
In our new video tutorial, we guide you step by step through importing floor plans, adjusting them, and using them as the basis for your digital room layout.
Importing a floor plan - Simple and precise
Via the home screen or the Insert tab under 2D Floor Plan, you can upload your file-whether it’s a PDF or an image. For multi-page PDFs, simply select the desired page in the dialog. Next, define a reference line with a known measurement, and the floor plan will be automatically scaled to the correct size. In edit mode, you can adjust visibility, contrast, and brightness, or hide or remove the floor plan if needed.
Tracing the floor plan
The imported floor plan serves as your template. Using the architectural tools, you can draw walls, doors, and windows accurately along the layout. Once a room is fully enclosed, a floor is generated automatically. If you want to display the floor plan again, simply hide the floor via the visibility options.
From floor plan to presentation
Once your digital floor plan is complete, you can present it directly or export it as an image. Under Presentation and Snapshot, create an image and save it to your device via the gallery–perfect for presentations or sending to clients.
Accurate planning - Anywhere, anytime
By importing a floor plan, you start every project on a solid basis – whether your plan comes from a PDF, a sketch, or a photo. This creates the foundation for professional, precise room planning directly in the browser.
