leet design brings acoustic office solutions to the pCon Community

With leet design, the pCon Community gains a new partner for acoustic office design: its acoustic pods create quiet retreats within open-plan environments, helping to improve concentration, confidentiality, and well-being in the workplace.

The B2B catalog is now available to architects, interior designers, and planners designing offices, coworking spaces, or reception areas. Integrated into the digital planning environment, the collections support the entire process – from the initial concept and visualization to final specification.

Designed in Vichy, built for silence

leet design was founded at the end of 2015 in Creuzier-le-Vieux near Vichy, France. What began as a small start-up founded by Géry Moulas developed within just a few years into an established name among manufacturers of acoustic office furniture. The company’s very first product – E-Bulle, an egg-shaped retreat workstation inspired by the 1970s – already reflected its distinctive approach: unusual forms, uncompromising functionality, and a keen understanding of the demands of open-plan work environments.

Today, more than a thousand pods leave the production facility each year. While part of the team works from Paris on new concepts, manufacturing remains firmly rooted in the Auvergne region – a commitment to short supply chains and hands-on quality control at every stage.

Its references include organizations from a wide range of industries: environmental organizations such as Greenpeace, technology companies such as Stereolabs and Traackr, mobility providers such as Padam Mobility, as well as numerous coworking spaces in Paris. This breadth demonstrates the versatility of the two collections – from small start-up offices to the headquarters of international companies.

Acoustics as a design principle

leet design’s goal can be summed up simply: to keep noise out of open-plan offices without sacrificing transparency and lightness. Each model combines ergonomics, sound insulation, and digital connectivity in a cohesive overall concept. Glazed walls provide daylight and visual contact, while interior materials noticeably reduce reverberation.

A key element of this philosophy is intelligent control: presence sensors activate ventilation and lighting only when the pod is actually in use, while control panels allow users to adjust airflow and LED intensity individually. The result is a room-within-a-room concept that integrates discreetly into existing office environments while providing tangible comfort.

Arche and BLOC: two responses to office noise

At the heart of the portfolio are two collections designed to meet different requirements for privacy and focus:

Arche is the core of the range and is available in five sizes – from a single-person pod for phone calls to a meeting solution for up to six people. Two glazed side walls, a magnetic closure, and replaceable components make each unit fully demountable. ISO 23351-1 certification confirms its high Class A sound insulation, while the ventilation system renews the complete volume of air in the pod in less than one minute. Colors and finishes can be freely combined inside and out.

BLOC complements the range with an especially compact solution occupying just one square meter of floor space. As the only acoustic pod designed and assembled entirely in Paris, it represents short lead times from design to delivery. Depending on the configuration, the BLOC-1, 1H, 2, and 4 models achieve sound insulation of up to 30 decibels, measured according to the same standard. Insulation materials made from flax and recycled PET, together with flooring made from recycled nylon, reinforce the commitment to circularity, while a rotating control dial regulates ventilation and lighting.

Both collections can optionally be equipped with liquid-crystal privacy films and – with certain models – screens for video conferencing.

leet design in the pCon workflow

Through the new B2B catalog, Arche and BLOC are now available as configurable 3D models directly within pCon. Since both collections offer numerous sizes, color options, and equipment configurations, planners can test different configurations in real time and assess them immediately within the project context.

This connection is particularly valuable where every millimeter matters: leet design’s modules function as room-within-a-room solutions and need to fit precisely into existing office spaces. pCon provides exactly the precision required for this – dimensions, wall clearances, circulation paths, and door opening radii can all be checked during the design phase, long before a pod is actually ordered. In this way, leet design’s modular construction meets the strengths of digital space planning – from the initial floor plan sketch to the binding quotation list.

Designed for circularity

At leet design, sustainability begins not at the end of a product’s life, but with its design. The ISO 14001 framework guides both development and manufacturing. Materials include PEFC-certified wood from French forests, low-emission materials, and, in the case of Arche, hemp-based insulation.

Because all components can be dismantled, replaced, or reused, the service life of each pod can be significantly extended. This approach is complemented by collaborations with other manufacturers – for example, with furniture label Maximum, whose upcycled seating integrates seamlessly into BLOC and extends the circularity concept beyond leet design’s own product range.

leet design demonstrates that privacy and openness do not have to be mutually exclusive in everyday office life. The manufacturer’s acoustic pods create spaces for concentration and confidential conversations without compromising the lightness of modern work environments.
